About the design

Leaves are one of the oldest symbols of growth and renewal. The pointed teardrop outline echoes the shape of a diya flame, so it's a quiet nod to Diwali without being only for Diwali.

Please note: Each piece is carved from natural wood, so grain, tone and finish may vary slightly from the photographs. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

A teardrop leaf carved in natural wood, with an open lattice at its centre and a white-washed finish. Lit, the outline echoes the flame of a diya.

Questions, answered

What is included?

Two carved wooden tealight holders with a white-washed finish, and 2 tealights so you can light them the day they arrive.

Is it only for Diwali?

No. The teardrop outline nods to a diya flame, but the leaf shape works as everyday décor on a dining table, shelf or balcony all year round.

Is it carved from real wood?

Yes. Each holder is carved from natural wood and finished with a light white-wash, so grain, tone and finish vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photographs.

How do I use it safely?

Place a standard tealight in the centre and set the holder on a flat, stable surface, away from curtains and out of reach of children and pets once lit. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

How do I care for it?

Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth and keep them away from water. Let each tealight burn down fully, then lift out the empty cup before adding a new one.

Does it make a good gift?

Yes. The pair makes a thoughtful Diwali, housewarming or festive gift, and comes with 2 tealights so it is ready to light.

Do you offer COD, and how fast is shipping?

Prepaid (UPI and cards) and COD are both available; prepaid orders qualify for free shipping over ₹999. Orders are dispatched from our studio within 1 to 2 working days; delivery time then depends on your location.
