About the stone

Rudraksha is not a stone but a sacred seed, borne by the rudraksha tree of the Himalayan foothills. Tradition holds that the first rudraksha grew where the tears of Lord Shiva fell, and for centuries the bead has been worn by sages and householders alike as a mark of devotion, steadiness and blessing. Tied on a rakhi, it turns the sacred thread into a wish of protection in the truest, oldest sense, a blessing your brother can keep wearing long after the festival.

Questions, answered

Is the rudraksha in this rakhi real?

Yes. The 8 mm bead is a natural rudraksha seed with its own ridges and furrows, no two alike. Every bead is hand-checked, cleansed and charged by singing bowl before it is packed.

Why is rudraksha considered sacred?

Rudraksha is the seed of a Himalayan tree, and tradition holds that the first rudraksha grew where the tears of Lord Shiva fell. It has been worn in prayer and japa for centuries, which makes it one of the most meaningful beads you can tie on a rakhi.

Will it fit my brother's wrist?

Yes. It ties like a traditional rakhi on a soft adjustable mauli thread, so one size fits nearly every wrist. No sizing needed.

What is rudraksha believed to be good for?

In tradition, rudraksha is believed to steady the mind, support prayer and meditation, and hold the wearer in a quiet circle of blessing. On a rakhi, it carries the oldest promise of the festival: protection, tied on with love.

Which thread colour should I choose?

The rakhi comes on mauli thread in five colours: red is the classic choice, yellow echoes haldi, and blue, white and orange suit brothers who like a quieter or brighter thread. The rudraksha bead is the same on every colour.

Can he wear it after Raksha Bandhan?

Yes, and many do. Rudraksha is worn year-round as an everyday devotion bead. Keep it dry, avoid perfume on the thread, and it will age beautifully.

Do you offer COD, and how fast is shipping?

Prepaid (UPI/cards) and COD are both available; prepaid ships first and qualifies for free shipping over ₹999. Orders ship in 1 to 2 days across India, so order a few days ahead of Rakhi.
